GAP Case Study Library

This page collates populated Growth Action Plans (GAP) drawing upon the generalised “Introductory” and “Advanced” templates (click here).  Case studies are matched to different client groups and key contextual factors, and are populated with content that is at the IMPACT Clinical Coach level (beyond what is expected from IMPACT Coaches). The intent of the case studies is to help teachers, caregivers, practitioners and community members understand what Growth Action Planning looks like in action, and to offer a diverse range of “how” strategies for different contexts. 

Building Blocks

Growth Targets

Growth Targets are designed to empower people and communities to develop stronger Growth Action Plans. 

They support you to explore “what is happening” under the surface, applying the intentional practice descriptors of (1) awareness, (2) skills and (3) mindsets. They also support the naming and identification of the “growth intent” for the support, care and growth provided to others. Growth Targets are taught and provided at the Advanced accreditation level of IMPACT. 

Child and Youth Social-Emotional Learning

A Growth Target mapped against the Personal and Social Capabilities Continuum (or child and youth social-emotional learning competencies). 

Wellbeing and Resilience

A Growth Target mapped to broad-based wellbeing and resilience growth outcomes (and competencies) for adults and youth. 

Trauma-Responsive Practices

A Growth Target mapped to trauma-responsive practices as made practical for the IMPACT Program (Member Level only).
